Sun & The Moon Productions is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to supporting and showcasing all modalities of arts. Our mission is to support these artists and to help bring awareness and appreciation to our community through arts festivals celebrating and embracing the human spirit. We connect these artists with creative muses and a market outlet for their expressions.
2002 marks our fourth year of existence, with an average of 5 shows per year. Our annual shows include "Luna", an art erotica show, "Voodoo Moon", a masquerade ball held on or around All Hallow's Eve, and "Tribal Moon", showcasing Native American Arts and Artists as well as providing an annual grant to a North Carolina Native American Artist through Pembroke University. We have also held shows such as "Tunes for Tigers", with proceeds donated to the Carnivore Preservation Trust, "Midsummer's Sun", whose theme is tied into mythology and folklore, and "Winter Solstice".
We are a local/community organization made up of volunteers who believe in supporting the arts and our local artists. Many of the artists involved in our shows have gone on to gain recording contracts, agent/gallery contracts, and we are honored and humbled to be associated with each and every one of them.
